Ashutosh Gowarikar's TV show 'Everest' actress Shamata Anchan ties the knot; see pics

Actress Shamata Anchan, who was seen in filmmaker Ashutosh Gowarikar's TV show Everest recently tied the knot with her beau Gaurav Verma. Shamata and Gaurav got married on February 8 after dating each other for a year. The wedding ceremony was a mix of South and North Indian traditions.
Shamata looked gorgeous in her wedding attire. The actress wore a red and golden Kanjivaram saree and enhanced the look by wearing heavy jewellery mathapatti.She looked like a perfect South-Indian bride. Gaurav complimented her in an ivory sherwani and pink turban.


The two tied the knot in the presence of close family and friends. However, Shamata's Everest co-stars Rohan Gandotra and Sahil Salathia attended the wedding. Both the actors shared a picture with the bride on their Instagram handles.

In the pictures from their reception party, Shamata opted for a white-coloured ethnic outfit and beautiful jewellery.
According to reports, the newlywed couple is planning to go to Maldives for their honeymoon.
After the TV show Everest, Shamata did Bin Kuch Kahe and was later seen in Rajnikaanth's film 'Darbar'.
