Saanand Verma, currently seen in the show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! has been clear about balancing creative satisfaction with financial security. While he takes on some projects purely for creative satisfaction, he also acknowledges the importance of choosing roles that provide financial stability.
Sharing his thoughts about it, he says, "Sometimes, the project may not be very interesting, the producer may not be experienced, or the director might be a debutant, but the remuneration is good, so I take it up for the money. On the other hand, I also do projects purely for artistic satisfaction, like the film Chhichhore. I did not charge a single rupee for it. As an actor I like to balance both creativity and financial stability."
Having faced numerous ups and downs in the industry, Saanand maintains a unique approach to rejection. "Rejection doesn’t exist in my mind. I don’t overthink lost opportunities or rejection. I live one day at a time. Even when I used to audition, I never followed up with any casting director. If I got selected, great. If not, I moved on."
Despite the unpredictability of the entertainment world, Saanand who has been part of shows like F.I.R. and Laapataganj remains unfazed. "The only way to cope is to keep working diligently and wait for the right time."
