Arunita Kanjilal and Pawandeep Rajan skipped Sayli Kamble's wedding; here's why - Exclusive!

This is a scoop and it's coming to you FIRST and EXCLUSIVE on ETimes TV. 'Indian Idol 12' contestant Sayli Kamble got married yesterday amid shor-sharaba and her co-contestant Arunita Kanjilal (Runner-Up of 'Indian Idol 12') had gone on record with ETimes TV to say that she's looking forward to being at the occasion. However Arunita did not attend.

ETimes TV called up Arunita to ask why she skipped the big moment in Sayli's life. Arunita said that she hurt her leg and was unwell. "Mujhe kal dopahar mein leg par bahut zor se lag gayi ( I hurt my leg badly yesterday afternoon) and I also have a cold and a cough. I was supposed to go with Mohd Danish but later chose to not travel."

The fact that Pawandeep Rajan (Winner of 'Indian Idol 12') too was conspicuous by his absence made certain eyebrows go up. Did Pawandeep choose to not be there because his 'good friend' Arunita was not going to be around? When contacted, Pawandeep however said, "Well, I have just landed from Nepal and am heading home. That's the reason why I couldn't go."

For those who've come in late, Arunita had told Etimes TV just yesterday, "I will be attending the wedding today and I am very happy for Sayli di. I have been close to her since our last show. She was my first roommate and we have great memories together. Seeing her getting married today will be heart touching. I have also learnt a lot from her as a singer."
