Jagdeep Singh
, whose real name is Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed Jaffrey. The actor is fondly known as '
Surma Bhopali
' after he essayed a character by the same name in the iconic film, Sholay. The actor was an encyclopedia for comedians to learn the miniscule ingredients required to polish your punchlines.
Archana Puran Singh shared a screenshot of the late actor on his Instagram account. She wrote: "Legendary. Iconic. Jagdeep sir. You made our childhood film going experience so delightful. You will be forever remembered.

The whole entertainment industry is mourning Jagdeep Singh's death. A few days ago, choreographer Saroj Khan also passed away. Within the past few months, the entertainment industry lost many other gems, Sushant Singh Rajput, Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor.
