Apurva Agnihotri calls wife Shilpa Saklani his ‘rock’, ‘soulmate’ and ‘best friend’ on her birthday

Popular actor Apurva Agnihotri, who is currently seen in Sehar Hone Ko Hai penned a heartfelt birthday note for his wife, Shilpa Saklani. In his post he called his wife his "rock", "soulmate" and "best friend".

The actor took to his social media account to share a stunning portrait of Shilpa dressed in a powder-blue saree with golden floral motifs and an embellished blouse. She sported a sleek bun, hoop earrings and bright pink lipstick in the picture.

He shared an adorable message with the picture, he wrote, “Happy Birthday To My Rock ..My Soulmate..and My Best Friend.. Thank You For Being My Peace & Passion.”


Speaking about their relationship, Apoorva and Shilpa met during the early phase of their television careers and soon became close friends. Over time, their friendship turned into love, and after dating for several years, they got married in 2004.

The couple has now spent over two decades together and has often spoken about supporting each other through life's challenges as well as the demands of the entertainment industry. Apurva and Shilpa appeared together in Bigg Boss 7 in 2013 and they were one of the most loved couples on the show.

The couple welcomed their baby girl Ishaani Kanu Agnihotri through adoption in 2022. Apoorva and Shilpa keep sharing adorable moments featuring their little one on social media.

On the professional front, Apurva Agnihotri made his Bollywood debut with the Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Pardes' opposite Mahima Chaudhary. He later went on to do films such as 'Pyaar Koi Khel Nahin', 'Hum Ho Gaye Aapke', 'Lakeer' and others. He shot to fame on the small screen with 'Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin' and his portrayal of Armaan Suri earned him a huge fan following. Meanwhile, Shilpa Saklani has been a part of popular shows like 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', 'Kkusum', 'Lavanya'.
