Anupamaa update, August 30: Kinjal goes into labour, gives birth to a baby girl

In today’s episode, the Shah family comes to Kapadia's house to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi. Ankush, Barkha, and Adhik frown at them and move away. Anuj and Anupamaa greet them. Hasmukh tells Bappa that both family members tried to split up, but Bappa brought them back together. Anupamaa begins with the pooja.
Toshu receives a call from Sanjana, he informs Kinjal that he has been called for an interview with a company and must travel to their Mumbai headquarters for two days.Kinjal and Anupamaa inquire if he could go the next day. Toshu asserts that he must leave today itself. Vanraj inquires as to which company. Toshu says he will tell once the job is confirmed. Kinjal wishes him luck as he leaves.
Kinjal begins to feel uneasy and experiences labor pains. The family members rush to her aid. Kinjal asks Anu to accompany her. Anuj requests that Anupamaa hurry up and take Kinjal to the hospital. Anu questions GK about what is wrong with Kinjal and GK tells her that Kinjal's baby is arriving. Little Anu is overjoyed to hear that. Anuj feels helpless because he is unable to assist Anupamaa when she needs him most and expresses his frustration.
Anupamaa and Shahs take Kinjal to the hospital and notify Rakhi of her condition. Kinjal asks Anupamaa to accompany her to the labour room. Anupama agrees and joins her in the labour room. Leela describes a mother's condition during childbirth and asks God to safeguard both mother and child.
When Kinjal fails to push, the doctor asks Anupama to go out because she must perform Kinjal's cesarean section. Anupama informs that Kinjal's blood pressure has shot up and that the doctor has advised a cesarean section. Leela is enraged that the doctor only wants to raise the hospital bill and everyone tries to console her.

Family members concur. Vanraj informs Anuj of Kinjal's condition. After a while, Anupama comes back to Shahs with the happy news that a Laxmi has arrived in their house. She congratulates each member of the family. They are all overjoyed.
