The latest episode of Anupamaa featured a dramatic turn of events as Gautam attempted to get physical with Ansh. However, Ansh firmly stopped him and confronted him for his lack of respect toward Prathna. He then declared his intention to marry her and take responsibility for her child. Gautam later informed the Kothari family that his suspicions were correct—Anshuman now wants to claim rights over the baby.
Rahi questioned Gautam, asking if he was finally admitting that the child is his. Ansh pointed out that the truth is now in the open and Gautam is finally acknowledging what he previously denied. Prathna then made a bold announcement, confirming her decision to marry Ansh. She received full support from Pari, Rahi, Raja, and Prem.
On the other hand, Vasundhara expressed her disapproval, stating they would not support the marriage. However, Prathna calmly responded that she was not seeking their permission, just informing them.
Gautam, enraged, vowed to never let the wedding happen. Prem stepped in and warned Gautam to stay away from Prathna. Meanwhile, Khyati once again blamed Anupamaa for the situation, claiming that Anshuman found the courage to go against the family only because Anupamaa had returned.
In another twist, Anupamaa’s car crashes near the Shah house. As she sits inside, lost in thoughts about her past, Ansh senses her presence and calls out for her. She hides initially but eventually the two reunite, and Anupamaa breaks down emotionally. Ansh insists that fate has brought her back for a reason and begs her to come inside. She then learns about the emotional turmoil the family endured in her absence. Hasmukh apologizes for calling her a bad omen and for not supporting her earlier.
In the upcoming episodes, Leela will be seen threatening to end her life if Prathna and Ansh go through with the wedding. Anupamaa questions Leela’s objection, to which Leela responds by calling the relationship inappropriate. Anupamaa encourages her to reconsider, stating that no relationship is ever perfect and everyone deserves a chance.
