'Anupamaa' March 18 written update: Rahi gets her salary while Anupama loses her job

The latest episode begins with Anupama defending Banku after he gives Digvijay his food 10 minutes late. While the latter scolds him, Anupama tells Digvijay that it is sometimes good to be late to things. She also comments that Banku has been working for him for 4 years; however, not once has he cooked something of his choice. Digvijay realises his mistake and apologises to Banku. He then remembers Saavi and regrets calling her, wishing he was late at the time and things would have been different. Anupama also thinks about Prarthana and wonders whether she could have been saved or not.At home, Jassi and Ansh discuss program deals and talk about the latest offer that is being given to Jassi. While she says that she is fine with it, Ansh reminds her that she should still check it from her end. Paritosh sees all the issues and taunts Leela, telling her that Jassi will soon win Ansh's heart and rule the house. Leela gets scared because of this and decides that she will bring a new girl of her choice for Ansh and kick Jassi out.At the Kothari house, Rahi worries about Mahi, wondering whether Gautam will do the same with her that he did with Prarthana. Prem asks her to share her worries with him. Rahi tells him that Mahi often remains silent because she doesn't say anything because of guilt, which is what worries her the most. To this, Prem comments that Gautam deserves to get punished for everything that he has done so far.Later on, Prem gets the family together and tells everyone that he has got a big order for his restaurant. This makes everyone erupt in cheers as Vasundhara comments about how he is getting the recognition he deserves. Meanwhile, Rahi stands on the side, and Vasundhara notices that she is holding an envelope. When she asks her about it, Rahi hides it, but Prem proudly tells everyone that Rahi got her first salary.Vasundhara, however, judges her and tells her to work for the family business instead of doing a job elsewhere.The episode comes to an end as Anupama is seen working at a cashew sorting factory. She gets in an argument with a man there when he comments that women cannot do anything. A woman faints after not eating anything, and Anupama rushes to get everyone tea. When the owner of the place sees this, he fires Anupama and tells her that she misled everyone into thinking that they deserved a break.
