The episode starts with Digvijay scolding Banku while he eats breakfast. The latter had asked Digvijay if he needed some pickle with his food, and he had commented that Banku should know by now that he does not like anything in the house to be changed at all, including his breakfast.
Meanwhile, Jaya preps for school and calls out Digvijay’s name to tell him that she is leaving. Digvijay sees this and remembers his daughter, and then playfully scolds her about how she should learn how to pronounce his name. Anupama gets shocked seeing this interaction between the two of them.
