The episode starts with the Shahs celebrating Prarthana's baby and prepping for the child's birth. They express worry that if something goes remotely wrong about anything, the Kothari family will have another thing against them and will blame them for everything. Anupama urges Prarthana to be careful and to not break yes with her own father. As she turns to leave, the family stops her and asks her to celebrate Makar Sankranti with them. While she hesitates at first, she later agrees.
Gautam causes drama at the Kothari mansion
Meanwhile, at the Kothari house, Motiba lashes out about the situation. She calls out Khyati for siding with Anupama and for supporting Raja and Prarthana when they go to her side. Gautam also lashes out about the whole matter and claims that Prarthana belongs to him and no one else.
He keeps saying that nobody will stand between him and Prarthana and her baby and it does not matter if he has to go through Anupama herself. Listening to all of this, Parag gets infuriated and says that no matter what happened, Prarthana is still his daughter and deserves to be treated with respect. He even slaps Gautam and tells him that he will not let him trouble his only daughter with his drama.
Parag then announces to the whole family that one day he will bring Prarthana and her unborn baby to the Kothari mansion. He declares that no one will stop him that day and that his daughter will come back to him willingly.
Prem and Rahi fight about the situation
The scene shifts to Prem and Rahi arguing about what just happened. They start discussing whether what Parag and Anupama just pulled was the right decision or not. They then make up and share a moment, expressing how grateful they are to have the other person in their life. They also start prepping for Prarthana's baby while also planning what to name their baby.
The scene shifts to everyone celebrating Makar Sankranti in their homes. The Kotharis appreciate Rahi and the efforts she goes to in order to decorate the home for the festival. However, Mahi starts criticizing her and calls her out for the smallest things. This does not last long, though, as Prerna intervenes and stands up for Rahi.
The Shahs and Anupama are also seen prepping and celebrating Makar Sankranti in their own way. They use the flute to end the aarti as everyone rejoices at the melodious music.
