Actress
Rupali Ganguly recently took to Instagram to share a hilarious take on her struggles while trying to stick to a diet.
In the video, Rupali sits in front of a table full of sweets, visibly torn between temptation and willpower. Adding a comedic twist, she lip-syncs the iconic dialogue from
Aamir Khan and
Asin’s 2008 film Ghajini:
"Mainai bola no, usne bola please. Mainai bola no, usne bola please. Mainai bola okay, ab koi ek taang par khada ho jaaye toh aap kya kar sakte hai?"
She captioned the post, “Diet mode activated but phir usne bola please tu...#rupaliganguly #trending #funny.” Fans instantly related to her struggle, flooding the comments with laughing emojis and support for her relatable content.
Ghajini, directed by A. R. Murugadoss, was a remake of his own Tamil film of the same name. The Bollywood version followed Sanjay Singhania, a businessman suffering from anterograde amnesia after a violent attack on him and his fiancée, Kalpana. The film, inspired by Memento and Happy Go Lovely, also marked Asin’s Bollywood debut and was Jiah Khan’s penultimate film before her passing in 2013.
Apart from her humorous diet struggle, Rupali also shared a heartfelt Valentine’s Day post dedicated to her husband, Ashwin K. Verma. She posted a fun video showcasing their playful relationship, captioning it:
"Woh mujhe jhel leta hai! Love, laughter, and forever! Our relationship… I talk non-stop, and he listens! Happy Valentine’s!"
