Anupamaa actress Rupali Ganguly celebrates son’s birthday with a fun reel
Rupali Ganguly has become a household name through her role in the hit TV show Anupamaa. The actress' busy schedule often keeps her tied up on set for long hours, but even with all the work, she always makes sure to spend time with her family. Recently, the actress took some time off from her hectic shoot hours to celebrate her son Rudransh’s birthday.
The actress shared a fun video on Instagram, where she was seen having fun with Rudransh after waking him up in the morning to film a reel.
In the clip, the birthday boy is seen dancing half-heartedly to the popular song Kahin Aag Lage from the film Taal. While Rupali looked graceful and energetic, Rudransh seemed sleepy and uninterested while covering his drowsy eyes with a pair of sunglasses. Fans found the mother-son moment adorable and relatable.
Along with the video, Rupali Ganguly jokingly wrote, “Subah subah ready karke jab mumma emotional blackmail karke reel banwaati hai. Rudy ka expression and inner voice. Happy Birthday to my Son shine … proudest to have this kindest soul as my son …. Blessed that you chose me as your mother …. Love u beta… forever and after Mere Rudransh ka bday."
Rupali’s journey in the television industry began almost two decades ago with the show Sukanya. However, it was her iconic role as Monisha Sarabhai in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai that made her a household favourite. Her perfect comic timing and humour won audience’s heart.
Now with Anupama, the actress has reinvented herself where she plays one of the most powerful and intense characters on Indian television. The show continues to top the TRP charts week after week, even taking over Smriti Irani’s Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, which debuted in July of this year,
When it comes to her personal life, Rupali married businessman Ashwin Verma in 2013, and soon after welcomed her son Rudransh the same year. Ever since, Rupali often shares glimpses of her life as a mother on social media.
