Anupama: Vasundhara insulted Anupamaa; Prarthana takes a stand

This latest episode started off with Vasundhara humiliating Anupama in front of everyone, saying that she was mentally unstable and even doubting that her whole family was mentally unbalanced. However, she didn’t end there. According to Vasundhara, Anupama’s entire family was not normal. But Anupama did not go down easily. Instead, she confronted her and held up a mirror to her. Anupama asked her if she herself was normal, since she kept supporting her violent son-in-law.


Anupama also told her that she shouldn’t make fun of mentally unbalanced individuals because only those who suffer can understand their pain. Anupama then pondered Vasundhara’s selective empathy. She realized that Vasundhara allowed Divakar to defend himself, but did not give Raahi the chance to do the same.


At this point, Prem interrupted the family members, advising them to stop their bickering, saying he would reveal the reasons later. He asked them to focus on Prarthana for the time being. Khyaati asked the family to bless Prarthana and Ansh, while Maahi announced that the first gift would be given by Gautam.





Then, Gautam brought out his “gift”a set of legal documents. He wanted Prarthana to sign these papers. The shocking truth then came out straight from him: after giving birth, Prarthana could live wherever she wanted, but the child would stay with Gautam’s family and bear his last name. This truth bomb immediately triggered chaos and unleashed a fight between Anupama and Vasundhara.


Even Parag supported Vasundhara and Gautam. Frustrated and in pain, Prarthana had had enough, so she spoke out, saying that Ansh was the father of her unborn child. She announced that she was leaving the Kothari house and going to her in-laws’ place. Gautam and Vasundhara strongly opposed her decision.


At this moment, Anupama made a decisive announcement that she would take Prarthana with her, and if anyone wanted to stop her, they could try. Anupama left with Prarthana and Ansh, but Parag stood in their way, shouting at Anupama. Each time he questioned her, she gave convincing answers that left him speechless, yet he still continued trying to stop Prarthana.



Gautam then threatened to take the matter to court. Still, Anupama did not show any signs of backing down and confidently challenged him, ready to face whatever consequences might follow from Gautam’s actions.
