Anupama Solanki: To survive in Mumbai one has to work for at least 25 days a month
Television actress
She says, “My father is in the Indian army and he was not okay with the idea of me becoming an actress. But somehow I managed to convince him and here I am today. I have had my fair share of struggles in this city. Right from finding a place to live to finding work, I have not had it easy."
Her acting journey began when she bagged a role in the show
She believes in the adage that slow and steady wins the race. “I think I am on the right track now. I have been doing small roles but I think this is how I will achieve something in this industry. I am glad that at least I have work because I see so many senior actors out of work these days. The main point is to keep working and that is how I am moving forward. I have my own set of days where I feel low but my parents always keep telling me to think positive. I have understood one thing that if I don’t work for at least 20-25 days in Mumbai I won’t be able to make it here,” shares Anupama.

are a few projects which I have followed religiously. The way women in these shows have been portrayed is very good and I too want to do something like that.
