There are talks doing the rounds about how TV show Suman Indori might wrap up early next year. However, the actress Anita Hassanandani, who plays the antagonist in the show, has denied the rumours. The show started in September 2024 and has Ashnoor Kaur, Zain Imam and Anita playing important roles.

Anita said, "There is no truth to these rumours. Our show is doing well and there will be more twists and turns in the upcoming episodes. Our show is not going off air."

The current track in the show revolves around how Suman (Ashnoor Kaur) comes to know that her husband Tirth (Zain Imam) does not really love her and married her for selfish reasons. She leaves him and goes back to living with his mother. Her sister tells her how someone actually killed her brother and she embarks on a mission to uncover the truth.

In an earlier interview with BT, Anita shared her views about her role. She said, "While TV shows have always been about saas-bahu conflict and issues, my show Suman Indori talks about issues between sister-in-laws. Jethani-devrani relationships are competitive, complex and filled with insecurity and rivalry and in smaller towns where people live in joint families there are many issues between two bahus in a family. My role is very strong and someone who rightfully wants to make her place in the house. I enjoy playing negative roles. And I am doing a TV show after a long break because I was busy at home looking after my son."
