He was very possessive about me and would get angry even if I even spoke to some other man. I remember once I liked a man’s shayari and jotted it down in mydiary. Kakaji was so upset that he tore the paper on which I had written the verse, aur mujhe itni daant padi. He was a typical protective Punjabi male!”
