Angad Hasija to join Tumm Se Tumm Tak as the parallel lead
Angad Hasija, who was last seen in Suman Indori, is all set to join the cast of Tumm Se Tumm Tak, starring Niharika Chouksey and Sharad Kelkar. He will be seen as the parallel lead in the daily soap.
A source associated with the show informs us, “Angad will be introduced as Sharad’s first wife’s brother. His entry will bring a major twist to the storyline. His character and look will be unlike anything his fans have seen before. He is expected to begin shooting for the show soon. The deal didn’t require much contemplation because of the equation he shares with producer Prateek Sharma.”
Angad is returning to the Hindi fiction genre after almost a year. Tumm Se Tumm Tak also features Vandana Pathak, Dolly Chawla, Sameer Patil, Soma Rathod, and Nasir Khan in pivotal roles.
Speaking earlier about his character in Prateek Sharma’s Suman Indori, Angad, who became a household name as Alekh Rajvansh in Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai and has been part of shows like Preet Se Bandhi Ye Dori Ram Milaayi Jodi, Waaris, Ziddi Dil Maane Na, and Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye, had told us, “When the role was offered to me, I was really happy because it’s a popular show with an amazing star cast. I already know most of the people there. Zain Imam is a good friend of mine, and the director is also a close friend, as I’ve worked with him on a show for Dangal. The entire crew is very close to me. This is the first time I’m working on a project where I know almost everyone, so I was really excited. I’ve worked with Sai ji before on Phulwa, and I also know Anita Hassanandani very well. Since I know everyone, it feels like I’m meeting my family back home. Being on a set where you are surrounded by familiar faces creates a very positive and comforting environment.”
