Ananya Khare recounts her life changing meeting with Jaya Bachchan

Actress Ananya Khare has been a part of the television industry since the time satellite television was just emerging. She has played a variety of roles on TV, apart from doing theatre.

Incidentally Jaya Bachchan has a significant role to play in a life. She revealed to us how she met the Guddi actress and that meeting changed her life.

Ananya says, “I used to live in Delhi at that time. Jaya Bachchan's production house sent word for me and there was a meeting fixed. I still remember the day when I was supposed to meet her. I was so excited. She is the reason why I moved to Mumbai and got into acting."

Getting nostalgic about the day when she met Jaya Bachchan, Ananya shares, “I haven’t met somebody more humble than her. I was nervous but she was so welcoming and warm. We sat and talked about so many things. I will always remember that day. Jayaji really liked my role in Nirmala where I had played the role of a young wife to a husband who is older and has kids.”

Ananya further adds, “My father Vishnu Khare is from Bhopal and Jayaji’s hometown is also Bhopal. My father knew Amitabh Bachchan’s father Harivansh Rai Bachchan too."

Post meeting Jay Bachchan, Aananya moved to Mumbai and that changed her life. "It is the best decision that I took by shifting my base to Mumbai. I started doing projects after projects and ever since then life has been great." she signs off.
