Amit Dolawat to play psychotic husband

Amit Dolawat, the mentally challenged character of Swami in serial Milli, is back on small screen as Abhishek in serial Sasural Genda Phool to create some confusion and tears. Amit is playing the husband of Sonlai played by Hunar Halli of 12/24 Karol Bagh. Amit had been out of television scene for almost ayear to tend to his father post his bypass surgery. “How can one shirk off family ties? I am bound very deeply with my family.” A flamboyant character, his character of Abhshek loves his wife too much. He is a little over possessive, is a little eccentric and develops doubts a bit too fast. Although the character is far away from real Amit, he is enjoying the experience. His wife was the best friend of the male lead Ishaan in the story. To the extent that people thought them to marry….this closeness disturbs Abhishek and brings out the eccentric angry personality to the fore. He turns a psychopathic husband. “Sometimes I get really angry and the other moment I am crying. I am thoroughly enjoying the Mumbai track.
