Actress Sulagna Panigrahi and comedian Biswa Kalyan Rath took to Instagram to share a quirky pregnancy announcement that left fans in splits. The couple, known for their witty and offbeat sense of humor, posted a video where they shook hands and cheekily captioned it, "Product launch coming soon." This playful announcement is a callback to their wedding anniversary posts, which they have humorously captioned over the years as "One year of doing business with you," "Two years of doing business with you," and so on. Now, after four years of marital life, they are all set to embrace parenthood.
The caption of their pregnancy reveal video further reflected their signature humor, reading, "Coming very soon... either this financial year or next financial year." This lighthearted approach resonated with their followers, making the announcement even more memorable.
Sulagna Panigrahi made her television debut with the show Amber Dhara, where she portrayed Dhara, one of the conjoined twins at the heart of the story. The show aired from September 2007 to March 2008. She later starred in Do Saheliyaan as Maithali, a tale of two best friends set in rural Rajasthan, which ran from March to July 2010. Following this, she took on a negative role as Sakshi in the hit serial Bidaai.
In 2011, Panigrahi made her Bollywood debut in the thriller Murder 2, a sequel to the 2004 hit Murder. Her performance in the film was well received. More recently, she returned to television post-COVID, portraying Radhamani Jagabandhu Raya Mahapatra in the historical drama Vidrohi, which aired from 2021 to 2022 alongside Sharad Malhotra and Hemal Dev.
Meanwhile, Biswa Kalyan Rath has carved a niche for himself in the comedy circuit. He first gained widespread recognition with his YouTube series Pretentious Movie Reviews, alongside fellow comedian Kanan Gill, where they humorously critiqued Bollywood films. Biswa then went on to establish himself as a solo stand-up comedian, earning a massive following with his unique observational comedy. His stand-up special Biswa Mast Aadmi cemented his place in the industry. In addition to stand-up, he has also dabbled in writing and acting, creating the acclaimed web series Laakhon Mein Ek.
