Amardeep Jha joins the cast of 'Nazar'

Seasoned actress Amardeep Jha is the latest to join the cast of the TV show, '

Nazar

'. She will play a visually-challenged priestess on the supernatural thriller. Though it is a pivotal role, Amardeep will be shooting just for a couple of days in a month for it.

Excited about the new outing, the actress says, "It's a cameo, but a pivotal one. I am not at liberty to divulge much about my track at this point. Besides, I am not that involved in the script that I can speak much about my character. All I can say is, I am playing a visually-challenged priestess, who is the caretaker of a temple."

Amardeep is also kicked about her look on the new show. She shares, "It's different from my recent outings. I have mostly sported the salt-and-pepper look as a daadi on various shows, but in this one, I will be seen in dark hair, tied into a plait. I am waiting for the audience's feedback now."

', has become rather selective about the projects she takes up. Well, she has a valid reason for being choosy! Amardeep says, "Recently, someone asked me why I am not taking up shows more frequently. Honestly, it gets very difficult to manage the schedule. Even if the production house blocks 10 days a month for it, it's never fixed as to when these dates would get slotted. I end up juggling too many things and I can't take that stress any more."
