Amaal Mallik reveals he’s receiving villain roles post Bigg Boss 19; says, “people know me for my songs”

Amaal Mallik, who won many hearts with his time on Bigg Boss 19, has continued to be in the limelight. He recently opened up about his upcoming projects and how he’s been offered villain roles since his Bigg Boss 19 days. In a conversation with Mashable Middle East, Amaal spoke about the kind of projects he’s been receiving lately and what his take on it is.


While talking about receiving villain roles, Amaal said, “Abhi toh mujhe bohot villain ke offers aa rahe hain. Ki aap villain ban jao South movie mein. So I’m saying, if I am doing a movie, agar wo central character hai, toh I would also like to do the score, because I am really good at BGM. (Right now, I’m getting a lot of offers to play villains, like ‘Why don’t you play the villain in a South movie?’ So I’m saying, if I do a movie and it’s a central character, I would also like to do the score. I’m really good at background music).”




Amaal further shared, “People know me only for songs, but I have done 47 films with the biggest composers and scored for them. Hero ki entry, villain ki entry, main sab bana sakta hoon. So ek condition rakhne ki koshish hogi ki jahaan main face rahunga, wahaan ka music and score bhi main karunga. (So whether it’s a hero’s entry or a villain’s entry, I can handle it all. I’d like to set one condition: wherever I appear on screen, I will also do the music and score for that part).”


On the work front, Amaal, who’s a music composer, is best known for his songs. He was last seen on Bigg Boss 19, where he won many hearts and was in the top five of the show. Amaal’s bond with Baseer Ali, Zeishan Khan, and others is what fans love and adore.
