Former Bigg Boss contestant and television actor, Aly Goni recently bust the biggest myth about the controversial reality show. Aly, who appeared in Bigg Boss 14 as a wildcard contestant, recently cleared the air about the reality show being scripted. During a Podcast Pooja Chaudhari, the Yeh Hai Mohabbatain actor revealed how the show is authentic and not at all scripted. He further shared how contestants who get eliminated early or don't win the show, they claim that the show is scripted.
Aly revealed, "Bahot logon ko aisa lagta hai ke Bigg Boss scripted hai. Bigg Boss bilkul scripted nahi hai. Humse wahan koi baat nahi karta hai aur ye maine kaafi notice kiya hai ke kaafi ex-Bigg Boss contestants bol dete hain. Kuch hote hain (laughs) joh Bigg Boss mein better nahi kar paate hain. Trust me unko logon ne pasand nahi kiya hota hai aur woh jaldi out hojaate hain toh woh bahar aake aisa sab bolte hain ke Bigg Boss scripted hai. But it is a lie."
(A lot of people think Bigg Boss is scripted — but it’s absolutely not. No one talks to us in there, it’s just the voice and us contestants. I’ve noticed that many ex-contestants make these claims. Some of them (laughs) didn’t do well on the show, to be honest. The audience didn’t connect with them, and they got evicted early. So when they come out, they start saying things like “Bigg Boss is scripted.” But trust me — that’s not true. It’s just a lie.)
He further shared, "Aisa kuch bhi nahi hai, Bigg Boss mein koi aapse baat nahi karta sirf ek awaaz hoti hai aur hum hote hain. Kabhi jin logon ne wahan se nikal ke accha kiya hoga woh kabhi nahi bolenge woh scripted hai. Kyunki woh sacchayi hai. Par jog do hafte mein bahar hojaayega uske paas kuch bolne ke liye nahi hai toh woh bahar aake scripted hai, usko jita diya, woh favourite hai, aisa bolte hain. Everybody knows this but what happens is kuch logon ko woh mananna nahi hai because unka favourite nahi jita hai toh woh bolenge. Aur joh out hogaye public voting se woh bolenge."
(There’s nothing like that — in Bigg Boss, no one talks to you except a voice, and it’s just the contestants and that voice. People who’ve done well after leaving the show never claim it was scripted, because they know the reality. But those who get evicted in two weeks and have nothing else to say often come out and claim the show was fixed, someone was made to win, or someone was the favourite. Everyone knows the truth, but some people refuse to accept it just because their favorite didn’t win. And it’s usually the ones eliminated through public voting who make these statements.)
For the uninitiated, it was during Bigg Boss 14 that Aly and Jasmin Bhasin realised their feelings for each other and confessed love. Ever since then the couple has been in a steady relationship and recently even moved-in together.
