Alexx O’Nell in Chandragupta Maurya

What's in a name? A lot, actor Alexx O’Nell would probably say. The actor has been finalised to play Alexander The Great in Ekta Kapoor's ambitious project, 'Chandragupta Maurya'. Vimarsh Roshan will play Chandragupta’s father Maurya Nath.

We have already informed you that Rajat Tokas, popular as Akbar in 'Jodha Akbar', will play the title role. He was last seen in a guest appearance in Naagin.It also stars Shweta Prasad Basu opposite Tokas. This is her first major role on television post her comeback; she was seen in an episode in Darr Sabko Lagta Hai. The actress has featured in Ekta's 'Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki' before she moved to the big screen.
