Aishwarya wears denims for her marriage

Aishwarya Sakhuja, who tied the knot in a grand way with Rohit Nag, a line producer by profession, on December 5 last year, has finally got her marriage certificate, but not before encountering some embarrassing moments at the Bandra court.
“Rohit insisted on having the court formality done as he is quite finicky about having all his documents in order,” says the television actress, adding, “Every time we visited the Bandra court for registration, they would complain about something or the other not being right in the documents.It was exasperating.”

Aishwarya dressed up in an Indian attire for the initial two visits, hoping that they would get the marriage registered, but in vain. She lost her patience with the never-ending trips and the legal procedure so much that she landed up in denims and a black shirt on the day of her legal wedding.
Rohit adds, “It was on the sixth visit that we got to complete the formalities and we made the most of it. There were these typical wedding chairs lying at one corner and hence, we decided to sit on them and get clicked.”
Speaking about her experience, the actress adds, “It doesn’t really make much difference, except that the government now recognises our marriage, too. It’s good to have all documents in place. You never know when you may need to give a proof for anything related to ourselves.”
