In an inspiring video, Aishwarya Sakhuja dedicated a post for all the women in her life, who helped her shape into the woman that she is today. In a post, she wrote, “Who needs superheroes when I have these strong women behind me... Happy Mother's Day.”
The video begins with a glimpse of her late mother Renu Sakhuja and called her the ‘perfect mother’. She then addressed her nani, who has been doting on her all the time. However, Aishwarya lost her mother and nani at a young age. Aishwarya then introduced her sis-in-law Ashima, who has been a mother figure to her despite being younger than her by many “sun cycles”.
She also introduced her mother-in-law and wrote, “I must have done something right cuz my blessings continued and became stronger when I found motherly love pour all over me from my mother-in-law.” However, she lost her at the age of 63.
Aishwarya then mentioned about getting to spend time with her father’s life partner. She wrote, “He was lucky to find love and a life partner post 60. We call her Shobha. A mother figure who treats me as an equal and we share an honest relationship.”
She further added, “I have been blessed with not just one mother but mother figures all through my life.”
