Aishwarya from Anuroopa to debut in films

Television actress Aishwarya Pisse of Punarvivaha and Anuroopa is all set to debut in Kannada films now. She is playing the romantic interest of Vijay Raghavendra in the Manju Swaraj-directed Srikanta. The film, which also has Shivarajkumar and Malayalam actress Chandini Sreedharan, is currently on floors and gearing up towards the final leg. “We wanted a new face who is also a good performer.This was one of the reasons why we chose Aishwarya, as she is already a popular face on the small screen,” says Manju, talking about why he cast Aishwarya.
