films now. She is playing the romantic interest of Vijay Raghavendra in the Manju Swaraj-directed Srikanta. The film, which also has Shivarajkumar and Malayalam actress Chandini Sreedharan, is currently on floors and gearing up towards the final leg. “We wanted a new face who is also a good performer. This was one of the reasons why we chose Aishwarya, as she is already a popular face on the small screen,” says Manju, talking about why he cast Aishwarya.
