After Namak Issk Ka ends, I won’t be taking up any new TV show soon: Shruti Sharma

Namak Issk Ka

, which is going off air on August 20. It was a hectic day for Shruti and the crew members both physically and emotionally. Post shoot, in a chat, she spoke to us about how she was feeling and her future plans.

Shruti says it is never easy to say goodbye to a show and the team. “Within a few months a person becomes so comfortable in the environment that leaving is tough. You feel sad and uncomfortable. It's mixed emotions that one experiences because we won't meet each other now. Yesterday was sad but then we managed to go live on Instagram because our fans wanted to see us for one last time together,” shares Shruti.

Her career in television started in 2018 with India’s Next Superstar. Then she did shows like

Gathbandhan

and Nazar 2. "I always look out for good content and I have always tried to make sure that all my characters are different,” says Shruti.

But now post Namak Issk Ka, she doesn't plan to take up another show anytime soon. Shruti says, “I have a lot of offers. But now it is time for me to do something different. I am in talks with people and if things get finalised, I might soon have some good news. I will not be taking up any new TV show immediately. I would want to wait for something good to come up. I won’t say I am choosy but I want to associate with good projects."

Meanwhile, the actress is looking forward to a much-awaited vacation with her family. “It is time for me to rejuvenate and refresh myself. That happens when I am close to nature. Due to the COVID restrictions across the country, I am still planning where to go. I want to travel so badly! But amid all this the best thing is that my pet dog is coming to Mumbai from Lucknow with my brother. I have been waiting to meet him since March 2021 and I think nothing will make me more happy than meeting him right now,” she signs off.
