After Mahabharat, Swastik Productions to make Karna

Producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary has become a force to reckon with since the success of mythological show Mahabharat.

The show became a huge hit and the cast, including Shaheer Sheikh, Praneet Bhatt of Bigg Boss fame and Nirbhay Wadhva, became an overnight sensation. And now the maverick television serial maker is developing another concept for Sony Entertainment Television. The show titled Karna will chronicle the life of the mythical character.

Says a source associated with the show, “It chronicles the life of Karna - from birth to death. And Mahabharat will be a part of his life.” Tewary remained unavailable for comment.
