After a two-year courtship,
Maera Mishra

Adhyayan Suman have split. While there were rumours of the couple dating for quite some time, they didn’t confirm the news. It was only in October last year that the actress, who was last seen in the TV show Guddan — Tumse Na Ho Payega, admitted to being in a
relationship
with him. Adhyayan and Maera had even moved in together. But today, it’s a different story. This once madly-in-love couple has parted ways and the actress has moved back to her own pad.
In an exclusive conversation with BT, Maera confirms, “Yes, we broke up in November. Though Adhyayan has been posting
break-up
stories on his Instagram account, I would like to clarify that those posts aren’t for me. They are for his song.”
She adds, “I was very serious about this relationship and thought that this one was for keeps, but it wasn’t meant to be. Things failed to work out between us. I fell in love with a different man. Once I started living with him, I realised that he was quite different from what I had expected. There was also a communication gap. We barely spoke to each other for almost two months as I got busy with the shoot of my TV show and he was shooting for his project.”
After the break-up, is she disillusioned about love? She replies, “I still believe in love. But I would want to know the person first before giving it a tag. All I want to say at this point is that I am now averse to dating anyone associated with the industry.”
We reached out to Adhyayan, but the actor did not respond till the time of going to press.
