Actors Aasif Sheikh and Saumya Tandon turn to poetry in lockdown

Due to the current lockdown people are finding time to spend on things that they always wanted to do but could not pursue owing to work commitments. Fulling their long-standing dream, &TV’s Bhabiji Ghar Pe Hai actors,

and how he pens down his observation of the world and its people through couplets and verses. He visited our home during the EID festivity, and we all were so mesmerized with his delightful rendition of his poetry. This lockdown gave us this opportunity to make our long-standing dream a reality." Adding to this Saumya Tandon, shared, “I write poetry myself, and I have been reciting Hindi , English and Urdu poems on my social media pages. Poetry is a soul soother, It’s the song of the soul which expresses life, people’s struggle and emotions through the medium of words . "

Yun hi besabab na phira karo, koi shaam ghar mein raha karo,

Woh ghazal ki sachchi kitab hai, use chupke chukpe parha karo,

Koi haath bhi na milayega, jo gale miloge tapaak se,
