Actor Sidharth Shukla's body to be taken home from hospital at 11 am

Actor Sidharth Shukla's body will be taken from the Cooper hospital to his home at 11 am today (September 3). The actor's post mortem was completed yesterday and the hospital will release the report in some time. His last rites will be performed at Oshiwara crematorium. 'Balika Vadhu' actress Pratyusha's last rites were also performed there.

Sidharth Shukla’s sudden demise yesterday morning after suffering a cardiac arrest sent shockwaves through the industry. The 40-year-old actor was rushed to Cooper Hospital in Mumbai, but hospital authorities said he was dead when brought in.

Shehnaaz

was by his side when Sidharth breathed his last.


Sidharth is survived by his mother and two sisters. His friends and colleagues expressed shock and grief while grappling to come to terms with the news.

His equation and banter with Bigg Boss 13 co-contestant Shehnaaz Gill became a talking point at that time. Their fans lovingly called them ‘Sidnaaz’ and it would trend many times.

There were rumours that Sidharth and Shehnaaz were in a relationship, but they never spoke about it. Shehnaaz was by his side when he died. Sources told ETimes TV that Sidharth died in Shehnaaz' lap after he complained of uneasiness at night.

Aly Goni who had also visited the actor's house yesterday wrote how he was devastated to see Shehnaaz in such a state.
