Abhishek Kapur joins Bekaaboo; will romance with Eisha Singh on the show

Abhishek Kapur, who has become a household name as Sameer Luthra in Kundali Bhagya, is all set to join the cast of Bekaaboo. He will play Inderjeet, a rich and chivalrous guy. Talking about his character, he says, “He is charming and well-spoken. He owns the hotel called Heritage in Mussoorie. He comes into the life of Bela (Eisha Singh) and Raanav’s (Shalin Bhanot) lives.He will indulge in healthy flirting with Bela leaving Raanav jealous.”
The actor says that he has no clarity about the duration of his track. He adds, “I don’t know about that yet. All I know is that I will give my best to the character. I will share more details about my character and track along the way.”
Bekaaboo also marks Abhishek’s debut in the supernatural genre. Sharing his excitement about exploring a new genre, he says, “It’s always good to explore new things as an actor. This show will grant me that opportunity as I’ve been playing the same character over the last almost six years. While I enjoy playing Sameer, this is a breakaway from the setup and genre. Who doesn’t like exploring new spaces?”
Apart from Shalin and Eisha, Bekaaboo, which hit the tube in March this year, also features Monalisa (Antara Biswas as Yamini Raichand, Abhishek Kumar, Chetan Hansraj, Neel Motwani, Richa Soni and Rushal Parakh. Shivangi Joshi of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame and Zain Imam made a special appearance on the show. As reported by us, Shivangi has been confirmed for Ekta Kapoor’s next show, in which she will play a journalist.
