Abdu Rozik reveals shocking reason behind his engagement being called off; says trolls targeted his ex-fiancée
Singer and Bigg Boss fame Abdu Rozik shocked fans when he announced his engagement in April 2025. The singer shared the happy news on social media and revealed that he had found his life partner. However, a few months later, Abdu confirmed that the relationship had ended. At that time, he did not reveal the reason behind the breakup.
Now, Abdu has finally spoken about why his engagement broke. During a recent conversation with Deepti Sadhwani, Abdu shared that too much interference from people affected his relationship. He revealed that although he had kept his fiancée’s identity secret, some people somehow got her contact number and started messaging her.
According to Abdu, many people made fun of his height and asked his fiancée how she would marry someone so short. He said she received several negative and hurtful comments online.
Talking about the difficult phase, Abdu said that his ex-fiancée was unable to handle the trolling and constant criticism. He shared that she later apologised to him and admitted that she was not strong enough to face such negativity every day.
Abdu said he understood her feelings and respected her decision. He added that there was no anger between them and that the incident happened a long time ago. The singer had earlier shared that he was planning to get married on July 7, 2024, but before the wedding could happen, the relationship came to an end.
