is back on TV with a negative role in the costume drama 'Alladin'. He will play the Wazir who is in love with the princess and fights with

Alladin

for the genie. Aamir, who has earlier played many negative roles on TV, admits that he was not able to take up any projects because he was not keeping well. He said, "I suffered a viral infection and then it affected me so bad that I had to keep away from work for quite some time. Also, there weren't any interesting roles coming up too. Now, that I am playing Wazir, it will be challenging."

The actor also mentions how getting into the costume takes him around 2 hours. He says, "The heat gets to me. You have to wear a lot of clothes and the turban and beard add to the heat and suffocation. But, it is a part of the show and I am not complaining. I hope to focus on this role for now as it takes up most of my time. It will be challenging to perform all the stunts for the show."
