A look at Bigg Boss 12 contestant Kriti Verma's transformation from a GST officer to a glamorous diva

Bigg Boss season 12's former contestant Kriti Verma, who had entered the house as a commoner with her partner Roshmi Banik, was eliminated within a few weeks of the show. Kriti gained a lot of attention for her bindass and carefree attitude. 24-year-old diva is a GST officer and is quite proud of her job. Kriti gave GMAT exam and became GST officer. She came to Mumbai and participated in Roadies Extreme. In Roadies, Kriti met Surbhi Rana and the two shared a love-hate relationship. Kriti did not win the show but still managed to grab viewers attention with her stint. Kriti became the first captain of BB 12 and was known for breaking rules inside the house. (By: Zainab Mulla)

Kriti was a part of Neha Dhupia's gang and played her game really well. In Roadies, Kriti's job as a GST officer became the topic of discussion. She made more enemies than friends on the show and her former contestants along with mentor Nikhil Chinapa mocked her for her profession. The strong-willed girl did not give up and proved everyone wrong. During an interview with TimesofIndia.com, she said, "Does not matter, Baat unki hi hoti hai jin mein koi baat ho. After Roadies, Kriti participated in Salman Khan's reality show Bigg Boss season 12 and became the first captain. Within no time, Kriti made an impact on audiences mind but did not get much fame like other contestants. kriti said, "Was deserving and that's why I got into Roadies and Bigg Boss 12. From GST officer to Roadies to Bigg Boss 12, Kriti talks about her journey so far. In an interview, she spoke about how her life changed after Roadies and Bigg Boss. She said, "My life has changed a lot and when BB people call you it’s a dream come true. My ticket to fame was Roadies but the bigger ticket was Bigg Boss for sure." Asked if Bigg Boss is scripted to which she said, "BB is just not scripted and it’s a reality show. The makers only showcase 1-hour clip which does not define one's personality".
