Female protagonists always ruled Gujarati TV: Sandeep Patel

Ace Gujarati Television and movie director, Sandeep Patel having contributed immensely to the Gujarati TV feels his best is yet to come on the small screen. The director, whose last two Gujarati TV offerings Niharika and Moti Baa received lot of good reviews and fan following.
While the show names were indicative of the strong female protagonists playing crucial roles in the scripts, Sandeep’s other shows like Sag Pan Ek Ukhanu, written by eminent author and script writer Kaajal Oza Vaidya, Mare Pan Ek Ghar Hoye et al too had storylines which were woven around strong female protagonists.
Says the director, “Female protagonists have always ruled Gujarati TV shows. Even today, the trend is here is to stay. The stories involving the journey of the new age women always moves the audience and these kind of stories make a show more relatable.”
