In the latest episode of the popular Gujarati cookery show, the cooking expert had something exquisite in mond for the audiences.
Anchor Dhwani Thakkar met with Kalpana Shah, who had two wonderful international recipes tucked under her belt to show to the audiences.
Based on the theme of Gujarati farsan, she decided to make Thai dishes using sabudana. She first prepared Thai Sago Yem Balls, where the balls were made with sabudana and a bundle of spices and were then fried. She next prepared Tabb Tim Grob, which was a dessert recipe served with rose syrup.
Coming back to our Gujarati roots was cooking expert Sejal Bhalawat, who took over from Kalpana Shah and prepared sev khamdi. She added her own touch to it and served it with peanut chutney. She also made patties, which is known to be a favourite farsan with Gujaratis, especially Amdavadis.
The episode showed the perfect way to home-makers on how they can add a twist to regular recipes and have a special dish this weekend!
