Hats off to Meena Gheewala for her work: JT

Janak Thakkar, who worked with ace producer-director Meena Gheewala in episodes of the popular show Chhuta Chheda, talks about the influence the latter has had in his career. JT, who is known for his Gujarati telly stint and the popular show Niharika, is an ardent admirer of Meena Gheewala, whom the industry considers a powerhouse of talent and creativity.
While the Gujarati show Chhuta Chheda enjoys an iconic status today, almost every TV actor who has worked with the producer-director has an inspiration tale to tell about Meenaben. Says JT, “Meenaben is a very nice person. Hats off to her for the kind of work she has done in showbiz. Not everyone has the capability to make a script as interesting and as appealing as her. I have learnt a lot from her while working in some of the episodes of Chutta Chheda.”
The actor, whose TV stint landed him plum roles in Gujarati movies, seems to be in a happy zone as he’s been bagging good roles in other Gujarati projects.
