and so, I won’t be able to go to my hometown Vadodara. Usually, I and my family love being on the terrace all day long, both for Uttarayan and vasi Uttarayan. The energy all around is infectious, with everyone around on their terraces, and the sky looks so colourful! We listen to music, and love eating undhiyu and chikki of different kinds. Usually, I am the one holding the firki. I make sure that we don’t use nylon and Chinese thread, which can harm birds and people on the streets.”
