", is in talks to join the upcoming new take on "
The Predator
".
Jacob Tremblay and Boyd Holbrook are already on board the project.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Strahovski is in final talks to play the mother of Jacob Tremblay's character, a troubled boy who is accidentally drawn into the conflict with the fierce alien creatures by her ex-husband (played by "Logan" star Boyd Holbrook).
Shane Black directs and co-writes the reboot. The production begins in Vancouver. Yvonne Strahovski, Jacob Tremblay and Boyd Holbrook are joined by Keegan-Michael Key, Trevante Rhodes, Thomas Jane, Alfie Allen and Olivia Munn.
The revamped version is slated to hit theatres across the nation starting February 9, 2018.
