Ryan Stock, a Canadian daredevil and sword swallower, almost faced death after being shot in the neck with a flaming arrow - and that too by his fiance.

Amber Lynn Walker was supposed to hit an approx target in the stunt man's mouth but things did not go as planned.

The mishap happened when the flaming arrow hit Ryan in the neck and the episode was telecasted live on

The daredevil was saved as the arrow got his shirt.

Later Ryan tweeted about the same saying "We had a serious mishap tonight outage live on @nbcagt. A very unfortunate mechanical failure but I am very fortunate to walk away from it." Ryan and Amber Lynn were on of twelve acts competing for America’s votes.
