The channel is working on a music anthology series with its first season focussing on the lives of
country singers Naomi
and
Wynonna Judd
.
Titled "Icon", the show will span across multiple seasons with each telling the story of a music legend over a number of one-hour episodes, reported a portal.
The first installment will focus on Grammy-winning mother-daughter country music duo Naomi and Wynonna Judd, who will be serving as executive producers.
The makers are currently looking for a writer for the project, which will be produced by
Les Borsai
,
Greg Hill
, Cactus Moser and
Larry Strickland
.
Naomi and Wynonna Judd dominated country music in the '80s and '90s, winning countless awards, selling more than 20 million albums and creating a string of hits.
The duo stopped performing together in 1991 after Naomi was diagnosed with Hepatitis C, and Wynonna went on to enjoy a successful solo career. They last performed live together in 2010 with their Last Encore Tour.
