Sister Wives: Kody Brown gets accused of 'sabotaging' his relationship with Robyn
Kody Brown is grappling with a new reality after the end of his plural marriage. In a new trailer for the upcoming 19th season of the popular TLC series, the 55-year-old family patriarch admits that his “dream of the big polygamous family is just shot” following his split from wives Meri, Janelle, and Christine Brown. Kody is now only married to his fourth wife, Robyn Brown. “They have all betrayed me!” Kody exclaims to Robyn, adding, “I am out of my mind.”
As her husband becomes increasingly distressed over the collapse of their former lifestyle, Robyn confides to the cameras, “He is sabotaging our relationship.” She later laments, “I feel like the idiot that got left behind.” Meanwhile, tensions remain high between Kody and his ex-wives. Christine, who has moved on with husband David Woolley since her 2021 split from Kody, states firmly in the trailer, “I’m not gonna be friendly.”
Janelle, who ended her 19-year marriage to Kody in 2022, isn’t dwelling on the past. She candidly tells the cameras, “I don’t really miss him. It’s really a mess.” Meri is equally prepared to move on, stating, “Let’s just separate this completely.” In the upcoming season of *Sister Wives,* the Browns are “facing new pathways forward,” according to the official synopsis.
“Meri takes her recent decision to leave Kody one step further by appealing to their former church for an official ‘release’ (their version of a divorce),” per the description. “Janelle doesn’t need a divorce and is just moving on, which for her means moving away from Flagstaff. Christine has found her soulmate, David. In less than a year, they go on their first date, move in together, and then marry at a beautiful wedding surrounded by family and friends in Moab, Utah.” “While three of Kody's wives have left, his fourth wife Robyn remains legally married to him,” the description continues. “Now that the Browns have left polygamy behind, Robyn and Kody face challenges together as a monogamous couple and how to adapt to a lifestyle they never planned on living.”
