Shay Mitchell’s Indian travel diaries

Pretty Little Liars star Shay Mitchell was recently in India, where she practically converted her hugely popular Instagram account into a travel diary and was instantly inundated with fans’ requests to visit their cities. Shay, who is one of the leads of the US teen drama, spent close to a week in the country, and visited parts of North India and Mumbai. She wrote that India was “everything I imagined and more...” and dressed in a kurta and dupatta, which she promised to “rock in LA”, too, before she headed out to meet the locals.
Over the next few days of the packed trip, the actress and fashion icon was enamoured with everything in India, from the roads and autorickshaws to a roadside thadi in Dehradun. She was as taken by her beautiful hotel at the foot of the Himalayas as she was with Marine Drive. Even though she hadn’t clicked it, she also posted a picture of the Taj Mahal and gushed about its beauty and popularity. In Mumbai, she attended a Holi party and noted that “it took a few showers” to get the colours off.
The actress, who has finished shooting for season five of PLL, has always been an explorer and traveller, and went straight to Marrakesh from Mumbai. In December last year, she and her girlfriends, including Selena Gomez and Kendall Jenner, visited Abu Dhabi for New Year.
