Sharon Osbourne is talking up about the time she discovered her husband Ozzy Osbourne's prior affair and the catastrophic consequences.
Speaking on stage at her performance, Sharon Osbourne: Cut the Crap, in London on Sunday, the 71-year-old TV star said that she attempted suicide after learning about the 75-year-old's affair.
"He always, always had groupies, and I was so used to that," Sharon told The Mirror in the United Kingdom.
"But when he learns the person's name, where they live, and where they work... it's a very other story because you're emotionally connected. I took, I'm not sure how many pills."
The reality star, who has daughters Aimee, 40, and Kelly, 39, as well as son Jack, 38, with Ozzy, went on to say that she thought her children would be able to "take care of themselves" because they were "older."
"So I took an overdose and locked myself in the bedroom," she went on to say. "The maid tried to come in to clean the room and saw me."
PEOPLE confirmed Sharon's remarks with her representative.
Ozzy and the mother of three have been married since 1982. However, in May 2016, it was disclosed that they were divorcing after 33 years of marriage, citing accusations he had a four-year affair with a hairstylist.
In August 2016, PEOPLE reported that the Black Sabbath leader had sought rehab for s*x addiction. The pair reconciled the following month and repeated their wedding vows in Las Vegas on Mother's Day, 2017.

"To me, this was our real wedding day. This is the one I'll remember. Sharon and I have gone through so much, and this truly feels like a fresh start," Ozzy told Hello! Magazine about the modest ceremony.
"I made a huge mistake," he explained. "Without Sharon, I'm nothing. I am in love with her. I can honestly claim that I have never loved anyone but my wife."

Months after renewing their vows, Sharon revealed out about Ozzy's earlier infidelities and his affair in an interview with the UK publication The Telegraph.
"There wasn't just one woman; there were six of them," she told the publication. "When I learned about the hairdresser, I couldn't believe it. Because none of these women were show ponies, he was filling a need in some way.
In a 2020 interview with British GQ, Ozzy pondered on his past infidelities and expressed regret for infidelity.
"I have done some fairly ridiculous things in my life. I regret having cheated on my wife. "I don't do it anymore," he explained. "I received my reality check, and I'm relieved she didn't abandon me. I am not proud of that. I was furious up with myself. "But I broke her heart."
Two years later, Sharon and Ozzy celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a "brilliant" staycation at the Beverly Hills Hotel. "We never gave up on each other," Sharon told PEOPLE back then. "I mean, I was not a saint. Ozzy was not a saint. I gave him as wonderful as he gave to me. We're just meant to be."
Ozzy added, “You have rows, you fall out, you get back on the horse and carry on."
