Selena Gomez Reveals Martin Short’s Special Role in Her Wedding

Selena Gomez is opening up about her wedding plans—and how her Only Murders in the Building co-stars, Steve Martin and Martin Short, might be involved in her big day.
During her appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show on March 27, the 32-year-old singer and actress was asked if she had considered having Martin, 79, and Short, 75, officiate her wedding to music producer Benny Blanco.
“Oh my gosh! I hadn’t even thought about that,” Gomez admitted with a laugh.
However, while officiating might not be in the cards, Martin Short will still have an important role in the celebration. Gomez revealed, “Marty is due to give a speech,” adding, “I told him he must.”
