Saturday Night Live’s Kenan Thompson reacts to his separation with wife post-10 years of marriage

Saturday Night Live fame Kenan Thompson understands that there are two sides to every story, especially where his divorce from wife Christina Evangeline stands today. During a Today show appearance on Monday, anchor Hoda Kotb wondered why the Saturday Night Live star has spoken only "a little bit" about his divorce and didn't write "much.” However, Kenan reacted to the same and confirmed that he doesn’t want to reveal too many details about his relationship and divorce.


Kenan has a book coming up named ‘When I Was Your Age: Life Lessons, Funny Stories & Questionable Parenting Advice from a Professional Clown’ where he has spoken about his life experiences. He mentioned that most of the things he has learnt in his life is already mentioned in the book and hence he doesn’t want to speak too much about what went down in his marriage and what went down.


Thompson explained, "didn't want to speak out of turn on people who aren't there to tell their vision of the story. So I just kind of told my perspective, basically.”



News of Thompson and Evangeline's separation came in April 2022. The two have been married for over 10 years and are currently fighting a divorce battle. He later requested for 50/50 custody of their daughters Georgia Marie and Gianna Michelle.
