Padma Lakshmi has revealed some explosive details about her sexual life with former husband
Salman Rushdie. In her autobiography, 'Love, Loss and What We Ate', the 'Boom' actress claimed that Rushdie was insensitive to her medical condition and once even called her a 'bad investment' after she refused his sexual advances.

In her memoir, Padma Lakshmi also spoke about how Rushdie had to be consoled every year when he did not win the Nobel Prize for literature.
According to PTI, Lakshmi's book is 'rich with sensual prose and punctuated with evocative recipes, is alive with the scents, tastes, and textures of a life that spans complex geographies both internal and external. Speaking about her former husband, the 45-year-old actress also shared that Rushdie needed constant care, feeding and frequent sex. He was even insensitive to a medical condition that made intercourse painful for her, quoted Dailymail.
